This two hour class is for beginning fly casters who have little experience with fly casting or for those who have been casting for some time but have not had formal instruction. The emphasis will be on developing a sound and effective basic cast which will serve as a reliable and  effective fishing cast. The class will take place on the grass. A 5w-6w rod with line of corresponding weight in either a double or weight forward taper with leader will serve. If you don't have your own equipment it will be available at the museum on the day of the class.
