Youth Programming at The Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum

On campus programs at CFFCM occur on our 50 acre campus along a mile of the beautiful Willowemoc Creek in Livingston Manor, New York. Outdoor walking trails and a two-acre pond compliment our world-class museum and 2,000 square foot multi-purpose room where we conduct classes for all of our children’s educational opportunities. The CFFCM After-School Program

The after-school program at CFFCM is a yearly opportunity for parents and local school districts to extend their learning opportunities for school-age children into the later hours of the day. The program runs from 6-8 weeks per year and allows us to teach more in-depth topics such as fly tying and casting. By the end of the program, students are casting flies for fish in our pond and river.

Get in touch if you have questions or wish to pre-register for the CFFCM 2024 Spring After-school Program.

This year’s program will take place on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:00pm beginning May 21 - June 25, 2024.

Summer Programs

Summer events at The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum often include activities for children including fly tying, casting lessons and stream entomology (aka bug hunting). Join our mailing list to stay up-to-date on all of our upcoming events.
