President

Anthony J. Magardino grew up in Westchester, New York, and had the good fortune to spend his summers on the Legendary Beaverkill. Magardino recently served on the executive board as treasurer of the CFFCM and formally served on the board of directors of the American Museum of Fly Fishing in Vermont, He is a lifetime member of Trout Unlimited, and currently sits on TU’s New York State Counsel Development Committee.

Vice President (Interim)*

Originally from New Jersey, Johnene Loverich, grew up on Bainbridge Island in Washington State where she met her husband, Eric, and they raised their two children, Maddie and Parker. After their children grew, Johnene and Eric moved to Livingston Manor where they have lived (and fished) full time for the last four years. Living in the Western Catskills afforded Johnene the opportunity to become an active member in the local fly fishing community. Along with her involvement at CFFCM, she is an executive board member of the Woman Fly Fisher’s Club, a member of Beamoc TU, the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild and a part time employee and volunteer women’s clinic instructor Trout Town Flies in Roscoe. Johnene’s goal to conserve, protect and promote the waters and the sport that provide so much enrichment to her life.

*Upon the resignation of Don Borelli from the office of Vice President, the executive committee voted to appoint Johnene Loverich to fill the resulting vacancy in the office of Vice President, effective immediately, to serve the remainder of the unexpired term.

Treasurer

Randy Lewis was born and raised in Toronto with his formative years in fly fishing taking place on the tributaries of Georgian Bay and Lake Huron.  The headwaters of the Beaver, Bighead, and Rocky Saugeen rivers and their beautiful brook trout were what captured his heart at a young age and perpetuated his passion for fly fishing for trout.  It was Mac Francis’ book Catskill Rivers – Birthplace of American Fly Fishing that drew Randy to the Catskills after moving to New York City in 1990.  In his non fishing hours, Randy is the founder & head of a global ingredient trading company and is also a founder of the Catskill Brewery.  He lives full time with his family in Lew Beach, NY.
