President

Anthony J. Magardino grew up in Westchester, New York, and had the good fortune to spend his summers on the Legendary Beaverkill. Magardino recently served on the executive board as treasurer of the CFFCM and formally served on the board of directors of the American Museum of Fly Fishing in Vermont, He is a lifetime member of Trout Unlimited, and currently sits on TU’s New York State Counsel Development Committee.

Vice President

Originally from New Jersey, Johnene Loverich, grew up on Bainbridge Island in Washington State where she met her husband, Eric, and they raised their two children, Maddie and Parker. After their children grew, Johnene and Eric moved to Livingston Manor where they have lived (and fished) full time for the last four years. Living in the Western Catskills afforded Johnene the opportunity to become an active member in the local fly fishing community. Along with her involvement at CFFCM, she is an executive board member of the Woman Fly Fisher’s Club, a member of Beamoc TU, the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild and a part time employee and volunteer women’s clinic instructor Trout Town Flies in Roscoe. Johnene’s goal to conserve, protect and promote the waters and the sport that provide so much enrichment to her life.

Secretary

A North Jersey native, Christina Muller discovered fly fishing and fly tying together, cutting her teeth on Kettle Creek, the Croton Watershed, and the trout waters of Bergen County. After discovering the Upper Delaware in the late 2000s, she fell in love with its scenery, fishing, and especially its community of anglers, artists, craftspeople, and conservation-minded friends. In 2024, she relocated to the western Catskills.

A creative by trade and dedicated volunteer, Christina supports the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum, Casting for Recovery, Project Healing Waters, The Mayfly Project, women’s fly-fishing schools, and the Catskill Fly Tyers Guild. She is also a lifetime member of Trout Unlimited and volunteers with the newly reformed Beamoc TU Chapter.

Christina is grateful to be part of the CFFCM family and sees her work there as a meaningful way to help preserve the beautiful, fragile, and deeply important history of fly fishing, fly tying, and conservation in the Catskills.

Treasurer

Tim McCausland is a lawyer and banker who left his career in NYC to be a country lawyer in Roscoe, NY in 1994. Having spent every summer of his life in Roscoe, it made sense to settle there. Tim’s maternal roots in Sullivan County go back to the 1840s in the hamlets around Fremont Center. He is a director of Garnet Health and past Chair of the Community Foundation of Orange & Sullivan Counties. Tim currently serves as Senior Counsel for Rourke Law and lives with his family on the Beaverkill outside Roscoe.
