First Cast at the CFFCM, scheduled for Saturday, April 4, will be postponed unless there is a dramatic change in the pandemic. Watch for updates as we select a new date.
When the museum will reopen to the public remains unclear. Watch for an announcement based on the safety of a our staff and guests.

Health officials have urged people to avoid large gatherings
As a friendly reminder, CDC always recommends everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases like COVID-19, including:
Avoid close contact and shaking hands with people who are sick.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
Stay home when you are sick.
Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
We do have older members and those with health problems that attend our events and they are at an elevated risk if they were to fall ill with the COVID-19 virus. So please keep their safety in mind, stay home and tie some flies if you do not feel well when our events reconvene.
