The 2024 Catskill Rodmakers Gathering will take place September 6th, 7th & 8th. In its 30th year, the Gathering is organized by a group of rodmakers from around the country and takes place every year at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center.

Join bamboo rodmakers, enthusiasts, friends and family for this annual get-together - to talk about bamboo rods, rodmaking and casting. There will be 60-70 rods available to handle and cast throughout the weekend. Lots of discussions on tapers and history of makers and of course a few opinions too ;)

All are welcomed and encouraged to bring a rod or three and share their building tips or favorite rod tapers as we cast and discuss.

PLEASE NOTE: The Center is closed to the public during this private event.

• Registration includes a 2024 Catskill Rodmakers t-shirt. Tickets bought after August 4th will choose from the t-shirt sizes at the event. Participant names will be added to the t-shirts this year!
