Our Mission
“The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the heritage of fly fishing in the Catskills and educating the next generation of anglers and conservationists. Situated in the birthplace of American dry fly fishing, our multifaceted museum and 50 acres of grounds on the banks of the famed Willowemoc provide a vibrant cultural hub with a global reach. The CFFCM is a place for the luminaries of fly fishing to engage anglers and naturalists of all ages and levels of experience, to enrich the future of fishing, and to ensure the sustainability of the delicate ecosystem on which it depends.”

Plan Your Visit
Located on a 53-acre campus, the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum includes the Welcome Center & Gift Shop, Museum & Fly Fishing Hall of Fame, the Wulff Gallery & Heritage Craft Center, a covered pavilion, casting fields, trail system, and access to the Willowemoc Creek. We welcome everyone to visit us , enjoy and learn more about the heritage of fly fishing and legacy of conservation in the Catskills.
The Museum & Wulff Gallery are open Friday through Monday from 10am - 4pm from April to December.
Admission is $12/person; children 5 & under are free
Members receive free admission
All buildings are fully accessible
The grounds and trails are open daily to all, without admission, from sunrise to sunset. We encourage walking, picnicking, and practice leave no trace principles on our grounds.
Dog walking is permitted for CFFCM members only. Dogs must be leashed at all times. More info here.
The Heritage Craft Center includes a fully operational bamboo rod making shop including historical rod making equipment and artifacts from the Garrison-Carmichael rod shop. The workshop is an active component of the CFFCM campus with regular demonstrations and bamboo rod making classes.
The Wulff Gallery, dedicated to both temporary and permanent exhibits of Lee and Joan Wulff, is on the upper level of the newest building. The Gallery serves as a multi-purpose event space used for seminars, film festivals, field trips, classes, public and private events.
